Dear
@Joannie - just a brief message ('brief' - haha, I can't be brief?!) - I am determined to make today a good day - for the one to be remembered today! She was such a positive human being, I believe she thought to the last half year she would defeat this 'thing' - even did a 3-year course in "Process Work" - psychology work based on Jungian theories (he was a great believer in dreams) - went to conferences, did her exam and had clients, too - a sick girl counselling other people - best therapy ever.
The group accompanied her on computer, in meetings, right to the end - it was semi-religious - they believe in some kind of transformation after death - seems we need to think we will always exist in some form or another. Jung was a Swiss psychologist who had a great 'transformational' dream, he quotes in one of his books, but won't quote on here, as it might offend some people, but that dream was so traumatic, it got him into psychology. He came from a deeply religious family (and SWISS! - what a combination - not 'Heidi stuff' by any means!)
I have had a few deep dreams in my life - and there was always a reason I had those dreams - so I am open to some of those ideas, namely that our subconscious is fairly universal and some of the symbolism of dreams is also universal.
For example: dreams about water, mean there are deep soul conflicts - I had such a dream the night after my husband died - it was a total and obscene nightmare, which I don't tell people. . . .
I believe we exist as long as living people remember us . . .
some, like artists, who produce something beautiful, something memorable, 'live' much longer.
We still quote Shakespeare - and I quoted him on my husband's farewell card;
"Farewell, Sweet Prince, may flights of Angels sing Thee to Thy rest!"
the other one I love is "We are such stuff as dreams are made on.” ...
