A further updated article has just appeared in The Australian. Unfortunately it's behind a paywall so I don't have access. The headline of the article says "Suitors to ask Origin for bid extension". In the small amount of text I can read it does state that OE is "expected" to be asked for an extension so I don't know if the article is factual or opinion. We'll find out soon enough I guess.
