re: Ann: HRL offered further volcanic geother... arthur,
hot rock did apply for many leases. This competativly bidded lease in particular happens to fall within the "lithium triangle".
This area is only 43000sqkm in total and currently hots %70 of world reserves. chile is already the worlds largest lithium producer at 40% of world demand. all of this production comes from this triangular zone. The lithium travels through brines from surface to roughly 50 meters depth at most of the evaporated salt lake deposits in the area.
From my speculative understanding, hot rock should have lithium within its brines. will it be economical? thats the million dollar ?
some deposits in the area produce at 4000 ppm compared to under 200 ppm in others.
When you consider the worlds best deposits of lithium are hosted in this region with 70% of the worlds reserves, theres good reason to speculate that HRL have lithium within their deposit.
