The money from Lulo - assuming that’s what you’re referring to, is not being stolen. Loan repayments and profits are being disbursed to JV partners according to share ownership and established agreements. Any suggestion to the contrary is unfounded garbage.

Those funds are also being used to fund an expensive kimberlite exploration program, which until recently has been a painful and frustratingly slow process.

I have more than my fair share of grievances with Lucapa, but I don’t like the ‘greedy African partner stealing our money’ narrative.

I also find it ironic that our former Prime Minister literally made himself a Minister so he could unilaterally and secretly cancel a gas project, yet all the sovereign risk is in Africa apparently.
