Talk about profitable... As I posted on the AKE threads I listened to an interview from last week of the CEO of Critical Elements that has the Rose project (closeby Pontax). He said they updated their analysis of the project mid last year and came up with total capex for the project of US$357m and a net present value of US$1.9b using a extremely conservative spodumene price of US$2,500 per tonne for the first five years of production. The only downside is that it took Critical Elements five years to get all the permits needed for Rose, and Allkem is already at five years and counting for their James Bay project. But for those that persevere there's an enormous bounty to be had.
