OCAA are not about to give up in trying to stop the New Acland mine from resuming operations. This group is raising funds ($50,000) initially and have agreement from (they say) prominent KC to act probono to lead the new litigation against NHC. the past history of the legal battles have shown that NHC's legal team have been outclassed by EDO and their team, OCAA have on many occasions got the rub of the green from the judiciary. Remember the High Court tossed out all the cost orders that NHC held. ($700k) down the drain. My personal experience as a defendant over 12 years of litigation is that self representing plaintiffs/defendants as a rule get better treatment at law from judges than those plaintiffs /defendants decked out with wigs and gowns, books and trollies of files. Don't think OCAA is going away.
