BTW, Clinuvel is years (and I mean years) away from getting the drug approved by the regulators strictly as a cancer prophylactic. The former mgmt team already tried that route in their strategy.

Yes, the regulators should approve it as a skin cancer prophylactic. But, even though it is a common sense cause and effect link, the regulators will not at this time approve it merely as a prophylactic against skin cancer.

That kind of proof will take many years. Doubt me on this? Ask them directly.

So, I wouldn't get all warm and fuzzy about this being approved as a cancer preventative anytime soon. It should, but it won't. Our only hope for broad usage approval is PLE and having the regulators loosen up a bit on a broader PLE usage (where most type I's and some type II's could finagle a PLE diagnosis from their dermatologist).
