He said they updated their analysis of the project mid last year and came up with total capex for the project of US$357m and a net present value of US$1.9b using a extremely conservative spodumene price of US$2,500 per tonne for the first five years of production. The only downside is that it took Critical Elements five years to get all the permits needed for Rose, and Allkem is already at five years and counting for their James Bay project. But for those that persevere there's an enormous bounty to be had.

and a post tax payback period of 2.9 years - it’s crazy the profits to be made here .

IMO it all boils down to how much lithium CY5 have in the ground - if it’s anywhere near 30mt, we are laughing.
