I don't get why people, plus the big investment banks, are predicting lower spod prices in 3-5 years? Yes there will be alot more lithium production coming online but not every current day hopeful will get in to production and electric vehicle sales will absolutely skyrocket heading in to 2030. Nearly all vehicle manufacturers have set a date of 2035 or sooner to stop production of ICE vehicles. There won't be enough incentive and margin in recycling for a very long time. 60% of the world's lithium reserves are in the Lithium triangle in South America where fresh water will become scarce as this is water intensive. There will also be huge increases in the need for lithium in other industries like computers, phones, planes, energy storage, buses and every large mining vehicle. Every large company is going green. High lithium prices are here for a long time yet imo as supply may not meet demand for another 20 years.
