Out of curiosity, why would you think that due to Tesla slashing it's prices to increase sales volume and buyer uptake (due to government tax incentives and to increase it's competitiveness against growing rivals, because it now can) that that would somehow reduce lithium prices..?
It's fundamental supply and demand. Lithium is the raw material, Tesla's smart move to reduce prices will help increase overall consumer buy in to the EV market and number of sales and therefore likely INCREASE the demand of the raw materials needed to build them, I.e lithium... This would likely increase the price of lithium not reduce it...
