yes, expect some massive gold buying by the Chinese! They will be wanting to hit the US economy hard while it’s most vulnerable. All these tech layoffs are not going to end well. Expect a massive correction in the unemployment rate next announcement. They can’t keep hiding this worsening economy forever.
The below chart is also extremely worrying for them imo. People just don’t have the funds anymore in this high inflationary environment!
