From my holding company stocks for more than 10 years history,
I heard first time the word 'partnership' from the company managements.
If my understanding is not 100% wrong, as far as I know partnership is likely to be formed for development (a certain project or projects). While joint venture has tendency to be formed for just exploration that we made several times.
My feeling is that company and its SP are at grand turning point or singularity in terms of trend.
All just imo.
