Most Australians have no conception of just how enormous the department of energy is. It's annual budget is 115 billion US dollars and they control/influence much much more than that in the private sector via their regulatory clout.
For comparison, Apple's revenue is 90 billion us dollars.
For our tech to be on the DOE's radar could eventually mean that we could breeze past the most bullish prognostications on this thread.
