    You don't go spending $100M in appraisal drilling on a whim and a prayer. You spend that kind of money going for something that is almost a dead certainty, following the process into production,
    MinRes not just willing to spend $100M in appraisal drilling but also $500M to buy NWE, that’s a lot of money to spend on your own unless you’re at least 90% sure.imo
