Why go back to 1930 (1939?)? Because of the major cycles involved is why.
And what does it have to do with today? Are You kidding? We have had a big scare on the downside and now we have had a big move up and everyone is getting optimistic. I would love to hear what they were saying on this date in 1930. I suspect it would be just what they are saying now.
