    From the last quarterly:

Revasum is eligible for funding under the US CHIPS Act and is preparing its application ahead of the submissions opening in February 2023.

The legislation, officially called the "Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors and Science Act of 2022," or CHIPS Act, provides $52.7 billion in subsidies over the next five years to boost U.S. chip production.

The CHIPS Act includes $39 billion in manufacturing grants. That includes $2 billion for the legacy chips used in automobiles and defense systems. The rest of the funding is for research and development and workforce training and development. Research areas covered include nanotechnology, quantum computing, and artificial intelligence.

A Boost For The Broader Ecosystem

Beyond the heavyweights, the wider ecosystem expects a lift. Medium-sized contract chipmaker GlobalFoundries recently partnered with Qualcomm to deliver an additional $4.2 billion worth of chips from their upstate New York facility. The company wants to hike chip production in the U.S. by up to 50% over the next five years. In Massachusetts, manufacturers of machinery that measure silicon wafers and etch circuits onto chips expect to profit. In New Hampshire, Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo pointed to electric vehicle chip manufacturer Onsemi as an innovator the federal dollars will help elevate. CHIPS Act funds should nurture not just the sprouting of these manufacturing-centric tech hubs but domestic innovation, too.

    From a report on Investor.com

Smaller U.S. chipmakers will get a slice of the government largesse as well, Kumar said in a recent report. He mentionedMacom Technology Solutions(MTSI),SkyWater Technology(SKYT) andWolfspeed(WOLF).

Wolfspeed is likely to get funding because of its focus on silicon-carbide chips for electric vehicles and 5G wireless, Kumar said. And Macom and SkyWater could get a higher allocation because of their Defense Department business.

I'm punting RVS will be successful due to our focus on SiC like Wolfspeed above ( I'm convinced Wolfspeed is a customer ) supplying critical industry machinery manufactured in USA. The question is how much, and for what exactly.

I'm guessing the " what " is a complete factory upgrade to increase production throughput and bring some co-manufacturing back in-house.
No doubt the senior management team are costing a factory re-fit now, and required technology support for the next generation SiC platform, TOLOSA.

    Size of grant ? I'm guessing USD $50M - $100M .

This will materially change the game for Revasum, IMHO.
