I have owned a staffy for 13 years and she is very well behaved. Last year our neighbours got a Shitzhu Terrier and it would constantly nip at your ankles after digging under the fence on a regular basis, All the while my Staffy would just look at me as if to say "she's in the yard again, send her home, she's interrupting my sleep (rolls eyes and goes back to sleep)". 3 months ago the Shitzhu was put down as it killed our other neighbours chickens. It is the owner not the dog, otherwise it's just like saying certain races of people are dispositioned to be violent as opposed to others, it is the environment in which they live, upbringing etc.
