How do you stop an invasion and why was Australia invaded by the convicts and their masters from England?
I read...the prisons in England were so full of dirty covicts..filth and diseases, and the USA and other countries refused to take more.
New land had to be discovered and if necessary conquered for a new home for the filthy convicts.
Now the French arrived in 1772.. they had orders from their French govt that they were not to harm the Natives in anyway. If anything, the French would have encouraged them towards education. Yes Australia could have been a French colony?
It's funny a lot of the immigrants I know won't say the words Happy Australian Day ..they weren't even talk about it!
