Correction. The DOE gave a cash grant of US$230 million to Syrah plus a US$100 million 10 year loan at government bond interest rates.
In any event, 45,000 tonnes is pretty much a certainty by late 2025 or 2026. I just hope they have not sold the AAnode material to Tesla too cheaply.
