I don’t disagree on deploying equity as an option. From a DVP perspective - if you don't ask, you don't get.
Have used it in the past myself to align a 3rd party to our objectives and incentivise accordingly. Even threw an incentive equity hurdle rate on top of it. Kaboom. Was a win/win.
Your last comment is key though. Whats the $ size of the contract going to be. If its humungous, then roll out a bit of equity…….happy days. But if you are LTR, you make it the LAST 10%, not the first.
