By reading the April 13, 2010 IPAA presentation from SSN, I have noticed significant difference about the Sr exacutives of SSN. The US based SSN management are CEO = Petroleum Geologist w/35 years experiences.
VP-exploration = Geologist with 3-D seismic profiling expertise.
Consulting Engineer = Reservoir expertise with 20 years experiences.
Many other bigger oil/gas companies are headed by a group of bizness / MBA /Finance and Legal exacutives, only ONE Sr VP is the real technical person who heads up the exploraion and production.

Since SSN local managemnt team members are mostly petroleum experts, their technical judgement and decission making are very reliable. Now it is proved by the big flow at Gene 1-22H, then all the other SSN leases have became higher probability reserves, thus would gain a lots of value in their borrowing basis.
The banks and deep pockets have been watching SSN, now it has proved its value. I bet you guys, there soon will be much bigger JV/ Merger/ buyout/ financing news come out in the next few months.
