I do realise you are joking, but Community Engagement is a vital part of the business plan. Especially if it's a Major Project and they have certain requirements to meet to get that support.
For some companies it's just a chance to get some "warm fuzzy" photo ops, but others do take it a lot more seriously, with local employment percentage guarantees, indigenous trainee programs etc.

I remember some time back some intel was shared about the Recreational Fishing Club being approached by Core and being advised about the coming increase in traffic & truck movements on the access road. I believe that's what he is referring to here.

I thought it was an excellent - On Track - report and it looks like Mr Market agrees
