Hi The Last Death Sentence in Victoria was carried out on Ronald Ryan and this should NEVER have happenned . His accomplice Peter Walker who shot a Tow Truck driver in the head while they were out after escaping from Goal ( Manslaugter ) Is now free on the streets. I am sure that if the jurours thought Ryans hanging was a possibility he would also be walking the streets. Towie. I am not against the Lash being used in these high security prisons to calm those causing trouble. It was used on Omeally who was a Standover Man whilst in Goal ( He Shot a rookie Cop) . He was released from goal when his term was finished and I have not heard about him commiting any further crimes. Cheers Towie
