On the 13th of Jan there was only 13K shorted shares in NY, 2 weeks earlier over 118K. So it looks short selling is now mostly over. It is not a wonder why share price is getting up gradually. I think that last week there was some short activity and may be they are now covering these deals, when premarket high has been 5.26. This may be again the same up-down etc as it has been during the last years but the total number of shorts being so low as 13K I would say the most of shorting activity will be down.
