Fuh Calistus Gentry, Acting Minister of Mines
A correspondence dated January 30, 2023, written by Séraphin Magloire Fouda, Secretary General of the Prime Minister's Office, for the attention of the entire government, puts an end to the vacancy which had prevailed at the head of the Minmidt, since the death of **riel Dodo Ndoke. According to this manifesto, Fuh Calistus Gentry, secretary of state to the deceased member of the government, will take over from him on an interim basis. "The Prime Minister instructs me to inform you that the President of the Republic has appointed the Secretary of State to the Minister of Mines, Industry and Technological Development (Minmidt), Mr. Fuh Calistus Gentry, to ensure as interim, continuity of service at the head of this ministerial department“, can we read in this document.

Fuh Calistus Gentry won't have time to twiddle their thumbs. While waiting for the President of the Republic to definitively appoint a person in charge of the Minmidt, he will have the mission of implementing the first initiatives which will be implemented, in order to satisfy the will of the Head of State who wishes that starting this year, 3 major mining projects. These are the Kribi-Lobé iron ore mining project in the South region, the Mbalam-Nabeba iron ore mining project and finally the Bipindi-Grand-Zambi iron mining project. . For the record, **riel Dodo Ndoke, who died on January 21, 2023, was appointed Minister of Mines, Industry and Technological Development (Minmidt) on January 4, 2019 by presidential decree.
