Perhaps they feel the bar was set too low at $500m market cap and felt they had to increase to $1b. For a company with conservative management it is a very good sign.
On current number of shares $1b = $1.44
$500m = $0.72
With such potential in Caterina, Artermis, Matariki, Wortel & Barikewa, not to mention further potential at Maari this becomes a realistic achievement IMHO.
