It has been quite a while - the last announcement by VMT (aside from announcing the issuance of performance rights) was on 06/12/22. Not surprising that the share price is drifting and the volume/interest is so subdued (image 1).
Somewhere on the forums someone was unsuccessfully trying to compare VMT with multi-billion dollar companies listed on different markets - made no sense to me. What I find interesting with the big listed companies is, that they are extremely focussed on their share price and shareholder returns, and are absolutely held to account. Hence, with idle cash - if it can’t be used in a reasonable time it used for buybacks (image 2).
