Ah you beat me to that paper, had it bookmarked to read tonight. Your spitballing is what I was thinking too, concerning the “VCG” complex melts forming both PMT and C1X pegs. Presence of minerals such as Beryl may indicate a similar level of fractional crystallisation to corvette which is also a positive sign, makes sense since it looks like the melt travelled a similar distance. Thanks for the rundown, keen to revisit some french later, been a while since year 9 classes
