    yes and no.

the porphyry (the intrusion) could be settled deeper in more stable environment and as it cracked its cupola and fluids started to travel those fluids may have used the fault lines (the path of least resistance) to move and deposit lot of copper, gold and silver along the fault's margins. Faults or contact between 2 rock formations offer such fluid passages.

I am just presenting one theory but there are at least 3-4 possible scenarios where the intrusion may be. Also, in most cases, porphyries come in clusters.

Right now SVY is chasing one theory based on Steve Garwin's analysis where he thinks chasing the plunge of the C Load will lead to the porphyry. This theory is conditional on few indicators to keep confirming SVY is getting closer to the porphyry. Also, Steve only worked with limited data as SVY did not log the veins by % volume which is not the way to do it if it's to use the Anaconda method. Steve made recommendation for SVY to start to log the veins by % volume and that will require SVY to relog all the cores. Only then SVY or people like Steve can do more accurate analysis.

But the current approach is relatively safe move as if SVY does not find any porphyry there chances for finding extensions of the C Load at depth are fairly high and that will add more resources and life extension of the future mining operations. Win - Win scenario. Off course, there is a possibility of SVY not finding anything there but the reality is they are moving towards Junction (1, 2, 3.. ) prospects which is another sign pointing of large continuous system - with or without porphyry.

Let's see what the cores reveal.
