This has a long way to play out. No matter whom bids for us fisrt they must make their intentions clear. At this stage they will collect shares around the 5c level. It won;t go alot higher unless they are prepared to pay higher. In light of the lack of program and news to follow it may take them a while so a bid may be a while off yet - maybe.
Also, they would then have to go through the document phase ITC to get valuations and then respond to the bid etc etc etc.
It gets further complicated if another bidder comes in.
So really if the program starts without the bid finalising then the premium will keep going up.
The only factor that I can think of that may matter is if the party approaches Eddie and do a sweetheart deal. I don;t Eddie would do that so am comfortable that we will get a fair price in the end if they are successful.
