Before covid, CBs were printing like no tomorrow trying to postpone the recession (which must happen, it's the business cycle, watch Ray Dalio), forced bond yields to century lows. Yet after all these rate hikes, the labor market and consumer continue to be strong. I think CBs have learned their lesson and they'll never go back to even pre covid levels of monetary policy, forget post covid monetary policy which is what nasdaq is pricing in. 3.5% 10 year has been very normal historically.
I hope gold has finally rolled over, want a big correction in miners so i can buy. Gold sector will do well recession or no recession, pivot or no pivot, safest sector imo. plz dump gold.
