When you say gas market has changed you mean positively or negatively?

IMO gas is back in vogue, world realised that it needs gas to transition to non fossil. Europe can not return to Russian gas for sometime now and the Americans have already stepped up to supply there. Much of ours has/is heading overseas.

PEP 11 is earmarked for domestic supply. ACCC have highlighted gas shortages will impact Australians from as soon as 2027. QLD looking at NSW and VIC to bring supply on line and industry looking for clarity from government.

We also have a budget deficit, a cost of living crisis and new legislated emission targets. Coal powered stations are closing and gas is needed to keep the lights on. I also sense the public are waking up to this fact.

Yes the market has changed after the ALP, legislated for a price cap, but what will help more than ever now is more supply. Fact is there is tax revenue to be made, cheaper supply to voters and a drop in emissions to talk it up. PEP 11 is close enough to the east coast supply chain to be virtually ready to go on discovery.

Then you've got a pantomime villain to boo and scowl at. I'm not a spin doctor but I reckon most here could make a fist of this one to slay the doomsayers.
