I too have wondered why Thomas Beregi does not buy shares in CCP at times when the SP is low. If anybody knows when Mr Market has misunderstood CCP, it would be Thomas Beregi. I have the same interest in respect to the CEO of NWH, Jules Pemberton, so I poked around the Internet for views on the general topic, but found nothing. I think I heard that interval online, because I recall Beregi making a side comment to the effect that he cherished the fond hope that CCP would be in the ASX's Top 100 before he retired. The closing comment in the above link is, “The next goal for the company is to target the ASX 100, a significant challenge. I think we’re around position 150, so we’ve still got a bit of work to do, but it would be great to get there before I sail off into the sunset.” This comment is one of my supporting reasons for expecting the SP to reach $4 in near-coming years. To get into the Top 100, CCP would require a market capitalisation in excess of $1.7 billion, and in loose numbers, an SP of $4.50 should suffice to get into the Top 100.
