We,ve held HLO since midway through the pandemic and until recently were underwater. The reason we bought was that of the 4 major ASX travel companies HLO had by far the least dilution as a consequence of capital raisings to stay afloat. We,ve been adding for the last couple of months because it seems 90%ish of savings in Australia are held by people in their retirement years and I suspect they will start travelling again soon as they have fewer years left to do so and are more likely to use travel agencies than on line bookings. I say this recognising some, like ourselves, might book on line but only if it is worthwhile to do so!
