G'day Towie: Agree with you. If we develop a first class waste facility the new modular nuclear power stations can provide ample base line power. We will need a much bigger area to store or recycle the batteries , solar panels and windmills, all of which have limited life spans. Like you I'm also for renewables, but there are problems with them that governments don't seem to get. Properly designed nuclear at a safe height above sea level surely must be considered. An area ,I think, was selected in remote South Australia for a waste facility. Probably not started yet. Waste still being stored at Lucas Heights I think. Happy to be corrected!
Decades of Oil and gas to be produced by the likes of CVN yet. Let's hope it is sooner, rather than later!
