I believe a lot of the original EAP are waiting for the release of either akida 1500 or 2000 before signing. Akida 1000 is great however even brainchip themselves have released data and benchmarking showing that it has huge energy savings but lacking in accuracy and speed. This is when comparing to power hungry CPUs.
I believe the likes of Mercedes were correct in saying neuromorphic is in its infancy and has a long way to go. Future modifications of akida will hopefully lure in the big dogs
