Yes...I fully agree, seems hard to believe that Mitsui (or any other major player) would take the long-term risk (Codelco, ideology, etc) and invest in such a "smaller" project with such a "state-first" mentality deeply imprinted in the local political culture. I just hope we don't end up like Sunrise Energy Metals (SRL), who have a great shovel ready nickel-cobalt project, lots of media attention and even a big government grant, but no project funding since many years. Dying in beauty so to speak.
On a positive note, with our Western Lithium spinoff we can escape Chile's ideology and our Chilean CEO. This is a new beginning in a free, enterprise-friendly jurisdiction...and we get free shares!
