You guys are always so honest lol. This stock is heavily shorted which I believe suits the SBM board and GMD. It is the only way to get the Share price to a level where a deal can be done. I am of the belief that the SBM board has been working against the best interest of shareholders and a genuine ASIC investigation could well find that is the case. Seriously, how could any group of experienced gold mining executives preside over a well-established company and see the aisc blow out to A$2666/oz? Why aren't shareholder calling for their resignations? They have sold out and secured jobs for themselves in the new entities. Even if this boggy deal goes through, shareholders should insist that none of the current SBM board or senior executives has anything to do with new entities.
