RC will help us delineate the resource in line with our samples. As you pointed out it is much cheaper than DD and is often used to work out the dimensions of what is in the ground. Once we know the orientation of the mineralisation to a certain degree of confidence, then we can expect to see DD going into the guts of spodumene rich pegmatites, with the aim of hitting the mother lode.
That's why you'll see other companies having the 10-30m intersections with RC and those really juicy hits of 100m+ often being DD.
Also keep in mind that RC does not produce cores, so don't expect to see any. It is the diamond drilling that penetrates the hard rock and gives us those lovely mineralised (and hopefully light green) cores we are looking for.
