Gee, wasn't expecting it to come out this big!! Anyway - this is one of the pieces of information that my local vet handed to me on my discussion about Bella's options. Being a veterinary clinic in the business of generating money, which option would they prefer the owner to go with?
The specialist (not an Oncologist) I was referred to from my local vet was not aware of the Monepantel trial. I emailed her some information as well as the video interview with Dr. Kim. I've received no response. I suppose not all vets would be interested in becoming involved in any way but how many would be prepared or happy to refer owners to the trial when they would be losing around $20,000 per dog?
I'm only throwing up ideas here. I may (hopefully am) totally off-track. One would hope that all vets would do their very best for their doggies!
