Hi @Bails27 Agree - its a very interesting region (including along strike) - any historical mine with comparable grades in the Eastern Goldfields would have been extensively drilled by now – seems this region hasn’t had anywhere near that kind of attention.
While looking at SoM I did find some reports that included what is now the VMC ground – seemed to me that its only the Cainozoic cover and sheetwash (alluvium and colluvium) that deterred past explorers who were all relying on surface prospecting/geochem – but I can’t imagine it would be too thick, at least from a RAB/AC drilling perspective?
