OpenPay's exposure was predominantly in the B2C BNPL lending which is an overcrowded and more competitive space. They appear to have breached lending covenants and went into VA to avoid insolvent trading in order to protect the directors from personal liability.
SPX is at a dirrefent stage of business development and in a different market segment, so I don't see a direct parallel.
