"Regarding disease areas" - Plural

Scaling the team to handle an early discovery processes/trial structure?

To me the wording points towards that direction.

If you followed the companys announcements, you would have read that the first UK site was activated for immediate recruitment and randomisation back in October of last year, a quarter ago now. If you visited the company website just once, you would have known the team didnt have a CMO, just a CSO (Alex Sinclair) and COO (Carol Parish). Concerning the lack of knowledge about key fundamentals.
