Ie, using mutiple criteria, one could scan all the shares available to find companies who fit criteria accross the board, for eg.: a) must have been a director buying shares today b) must also have turned over x% of the normal volume or dollar value today, c) must have raised $x,000,000 in capital in the last week d) must have had a sensitive anouncement in the 'x' days e) must have debt of less than/greater than 'x'/'y'
This type of fundamental analysis, teamed with technical analysis (or on its own) is very powerful indeed.
