Shouldn’t that be a good thing though? If the shareholders who aren’t enticed/interested in the merger redeem then the remaining who don’t redeem will have a larger proportion of the vote so more likely to be successful.
While I understand it currently shows the confidence level is low due the the redeemed shares and thus the SP has dropped, shouldn’t this benefit the voting for the merger?
