A million bucks ... as in OTP (and you?) would have sold entire holdings on announcement of Discovery?
with no further part in the up and down rollercoaster that would have eventuated between discovery and commercial production?!
That million bucks being a guaranteed certainty never to diminish or grow again, .... if only the BH tool had worked to perfection?
From peak to current SP, I am down $520k on shares and $29k on options, but I was never going to sell on discovery, so can not claim with similar certainty to yourself what it has cost me. For all I know we may have gone to 50c on discovery and then drifted back to 14c in a recession, with me still holding, so the best I could claim would be "on paper, from our SP peak, I have lost", with a possible clause on what it "hypothetically could have gotten to had we announced discovery on a bouyant sharemarket day"
Damn shame we have to live in the real world
