According to the AFR this morning (P22) an "army" of investment banks have been hired by AEJ to work on the restructure. In addition to UBS, Minerva Advisory Partners and Macquarie Capital, Alinta's independent directors have just called upon Lazard for some additional advice.
It goes further to state that the banking syndicate is being represented by Rothschild.
According to the story:
"There are some suggestions that because some of the players have only been called in recently, talks are at a preliminary stage and a solution to the debt problem is unlikely to be imminent."
Any thoughts?
