Ok yes I am a tragic, I just watched it on a Friday night (kids are on their computers downstair too LOL). He kind of reminds me of someone from the Grattan Institute, ie. any lay person can see problems in their arguments.
What did jump out to me was his claims that prices will remain elevated (sorry Goldman Sachs) as industry will be too slow to match new mining to increasing demand.
Also the slide about the amount of CO2 emissions in ICE v's EV. The Slide showed that EV emit more CO2 than ICE in their manufacture, owing mostly to the mining of the minerals. I think this places Quebec miners in good stead, as that will help reduce that initial CO2 emission.
Thanks again, alway happy to learn more.
