More affordable evs is where cheap Chinese sodium ion EVs will come in to play, however that currently only suits people who want to travel short distances.
Not a threat to lithium though imo as few may suggest, I believe just like ICE cars and everything else there will eventually be a lower end of the range, middle of the range and top of the range for EVs to choose from here in Australia to suit different needs and budgets.
