Totally agree! But there's a bigger game at play IMO. It's corporate chess. The expected response from Nuix would be to calm the market by re-assuring that they are not in trouble. To do this, they would have to appease ASIC to thwart the threat of them walking away. To appease ASIC, Nuix would need to offer peace truce to ASIC and fire the alleged directors. But that would mean succumbing to the class actions...
The directors would not go down without a fight as their careers are at stake and Nuix is obliged to protect/indemnify them. AFR, although sounding independent, is agenda-driven by some people with deep nexus within the lobbying industry
